Founded in 2018 by local residents who were tired of 'lousy internet,' Current High Speed is more than just another internet service provider. It’s a locally rooted solution to the digital divide plaguing rural Missouri. From our 12,000-square-foot facility in West Plains, we serve Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Douglas, and Shannon counties, delivering reliable, high-speed fiber-optic and wireless internet where national brands fall short.
Our company grew rapidly out of necessity, scaling from five to 33 employees during some of the region’s most challenging years. We earned our reputation for operational excellence by completing the ARPA grant fiber project in Oregon County a full year ahead of schedule and under budget, connecting 1,500+ previously underserved homes. By building and maintaining every part of our network in-house, we ensure that every installation, repair, and upgrade meets the highest local standards. We don’t use third-party contractors; instead, your neighbors handle the work and keep you connected.
